Aunt Ali & Uncie Austin ROCK

Aunt Ali and Uncie Austin set a standard for family functions they will have to live up to from now on. They rented a gigantic moonwalk for us to play in yesterday for our Thanksgiving.

Kenna's birthday present from Aunt Ali & Uncie Austin.

Dessert Time.

Who doesn't fish in high heels?

Ginger had to be drugged again.

And here is the video proof of how much fun the girls had!

Thanksgiving Day in League City & Check Out Our House!

We enjoyed eating and the girls had a blast swinging and playing on Thanksgiving Day at Aunt Kendra & Uncle Jackie's!

Friday afternoon I woke up from a nap with Kenna to find that Bella and Daddy had gone to Ace Hardware and were starting to put lights on the house. This is the first year Paul has hung lights. They really turned out pretty. We think we will maybe wrap the pillars and/or the trees too!

Check out Clark Griswald up on the roof.

I think this one will be the artist.

Anta Caus

We had another full day! Church this morning, and then off to Katy Mills to see Santa. (or Anta Caus) as Kenna calls him. Bella and I both got into the Christmas spirit after seeing the Nutcracker yesterday, and so we went ahead and put up the tree last night.

The girls before church.

Bella and Santa.

This is the closest Kenna got to Anta Caus.

Bass Pro has an entire Santa Wonderland complete with 'make your own craft' tables. Here the girls are writing their letters to Santa. Well, Bella is writing and Kenna discovered they give out glue sticks, which she thought was chapstick. (oops)

Kenna and Daddy waiting on Bella to finish her reindeer craft.

Okay, there is a story with this ceramic Santa. My grandma (Bella and Kenna's Granny) made this Santa for me when I was a year old. This is the first year I have felt safe bringing it out of the attic. They absolutely LOVE it. We keep it in the front room which is carpeted. The last two nights Kenna has gone to the front room and kissed him goodnight. She says "nite nite Anta Caus".

This is Bella's letter to Santa. We have no idea what it says, but I am sure Santa will understand. Check out the last line. Bella has learned how to write her first and last name at preschool this year.

The Nutcracker Ballet

Amy and I took the girls to the tearoom and to see The Nutcracker Ballet at the Berry Center today. It does not come close to the Houston Ballet's version, but they both loved it.

We met Amy and Allison through Bella's dance class last year and they have become very good friends.

We fed them cotton candy at Intermission. Amazingly, they still made it through the whole ballet!

It was a great day!

School Days

I am very sorry that everyone has to hear me sing, but it is totally worth it when you get to the end. In case you don't know the song, it is called 'School Days' and Kenna's part is "I love you so".

Bella's Thanksgiving Feast

Today was Bella's last day of class before the Thanksgiving holiday, and she had her Thanksgiving Feast for lunch. They sang two songs for us, and then ate their lunch. Kenna even got her own place at Bella's table. She will be so ready for school next year!!

Check out what Bella was thankful for on the hat she wore.....

I was a little sad she did not put me on her hat until I pulled this out of her backpack when we got home. I may never take it off the fridge.

Disney On Ice Weekend

We took both girls to Disney on Ice at Reliant Stadium on Saturday. The show was so good, and we had great seats!

This picture is from a few weeks back when Kenna and I visited Daddy at work after we dropped Bella off at school. When we go to Daddy's office she says "I play". She likes to play at his desk.

Kenna is wanting to play dress-up more as she gets closer to age 2. She loves this purple skirt because she can put it on all by herself. Bella added the hat and high-heeled shoes. Last night after she got dressed she said "Look Daddy". She was very proud to have dressed herself.

Thank You Granny & Papa

Here is the necklace and mirror Bella picked out at Claire's. She dumped her piggy bank and came up with $3 more to spend. She said 'that is alot of room cleaning, momma.'
Thank you for my new Christmas decorations Granny! I love them!

Happy Halloween from the Lake

My grandparents (Granny & Papa to Bella and Kenna), and Uncle Charles came down to the lake for Halloween. The three of them, plus our family, Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Alicia, Uncie Austin, their foreign exchange student Hailey, and 5 dogs made for quite a full house. The secret is to keep the visit short and sweet, and everyone got along very well.
Mutual Admiration.

Papa is winning over Kenna with money. (Her favorite thing)

Granny, Papa, and Macy Ann.

Kenna is entertaining everyone. Only grandparents think it's okay for a kid to stand on the table.

Group photo. We are missing Aunt Ali, Paul, and 4 dogs.

Princess Belle. She really got the hang of the trick-or-treating thing. When we pulled up to a new house she would say 'Candy!' Then off she would go for the front door. She would stand in the very front of everyone with her bag held open. When the door opened, she would say 'Candy!' again. She wanted to make sure everyone knew what she was there for. It was pretty cute.

Grandpa with his princess. Poor Ginger Sue had to be drugged due to all the excitement.

"Pinkalicious" Bella, Hailey, Aunt Ali, Daisy, and Buster. Daisy and Buster were skunks for Halloween and Daisy had a tutu on her costume.

Macy and Winnie are pretty sure Kenna has something good to eat.

Bella is practicing her fishing tactics. She wants to know why Grandpa won't put a hook on the end of her line.

Kenna's Dollhouse. Papa made this dollhouse for Kenna.

This dollhouse was originally mine. Papa made it for me when I was a little older than Bella. He wanted to make her a new one, but I asked him to restore my old one for her instead. So, he repainted it and added some other new touches. She was VERY excited when she saw it. It has a perfect little spot in her room on a white table. We are going to put Kenna's up for her until she is just a little bit older.
