I Am a Promise-With a Capital "P"

These pictures are from Bella's last day of preschool and her Graduation program. Believe it or not, she will be in Kindergarten in the fall!
Bella's last day as a preschooler.

Accepting her diploma from Mrs. Frank.

At the end of the program they sang "I Am A Promise". The video did not come out well, but here are the lyrics.
I am a promise, I am a possibility.
I am a promise, with a a capital "P".
I am a great big bundle of potentiality.
And I am learning to hear God's voice,
And I am trying to make the right choice
I am a promise to be
Everything God wants me to be.
I can go anywhere that He wants me to go
I can be anything that He wants me to be
I can climb the highest mountains
I can cross the wide sea;
I am a great big promise, you see!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!

Kenna and I surprised Grandma on Friday at the Cheesecake Factory in the Woodlands. We had a nice lunch and shopped while Bella was having ice cream with Allison. (see next posting)

Grandma showing Kenna how to butter bread.

Kenna proudly buttering bread for Grandpa.

It was a great day!

Chocolate Chip Fun

My extremely brave friend Amy, and her father-in-law Jerry, took Allison, Aidan, and Bella to the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham while Kenna and I had lunch with Grandma and Grandpa. They had a wonderful time as you can see!!

Four Little Monkeys

Amy and I took the kids to the zoo today. It was really fun, and we all got to ride together, so that made it even better!! The highlight of the trip was the splashpad.

Mom's Tea and The Last Half of April

Bella's preschool class had "mom's tea" today. The kids helped prepare a special dessert for us, and they made a surprise gift. They also wrote a 'biography' about each mommy. You will be interested to know that I am 20 feet tall and weigh 30 pounds. I am 90 years old, and Bella loves it when I wear pretty dresses....(because I own so many dresses).
There was SO much going on, it was really hard to get many pictures that didn't just look like a jumble of people in a tiny room. This picture is the one that came out the best. We missed you Mrs. Baker!!

From left to right - Emma, Karson, and Bella. Their friend Grace is in the background.

This is our friend Allison with Bella. She came over to play today, and all three girls had a blast! She is the sweetest thing, and I love her to pieces.

Kenna blowing bubbles in the backyard.

This is the new Little Tykes climber with slides that our AWESOME neighbors around the corner gave us for the girls! They are having a great time with it.

I had to put this picture in for April. Kenna is putting her baby on the pottey. She went to get her camera to take her baby's picture like I was taking hers.

I think this one might take after her G. and Grandpa. Thank goodness.....we need a cook in this house!
