The Big Performance
Bella did fabulous at the recital today. She was so proud and looked so pretty on stage. She informed G. and I on the way home that she would like to be in 5 dances next year. I think she has been bitten by the stage bug.
With Grandma and Grandpa after the performance.
After the show we came back home for lunch with her entourage and had Barbie Ballerina cake.
Bella, Daddy, and Kenna before we left for the recital. She wanted to wear her new bathing suit to the theatre.

Sneak Peek!
Dress rehersal went well this evening. The girls did great and are beyond adorable. For those of you attending the actual performance, they are the third dance, so you will not have long to wait! Admission is free, and you are allowed to leave after their performance if you wish.
In the video, Bella starts out in front of Allison and Ava, but the leader switches them around the way they are supposed to be with Bella in the middle, Ava on the left, and Allison on the right.

Cinderella Ballet & Fun In the Sun
Here are a few pictures from the past several weeks. Bella and I went to see the Cinderella ballet at the Berry Center last weekend. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing, and she LOVED it. She sat on the edge of her seat through the entire performance which was 2 and 1/2 hours with two 15 minute intermissions. We bought the sparkly tiara which you see and the little ballerina doll. We will definitely be going to the Nutcracker this year and back to the Berry Center this summer to see a few plays. There are also a few cute pictures of Bella and Kenna playing in the backyard baby pool.

Happy Mother's Day
Here are a few pictures from our weekend at Dave's Memorial Golf Tournament and Mother's Day. Bella helped Daddy plant the yellow knockout roses that G. got me for Mother's Day. Thank you G.! We planted them just outside the kitchen windows so we can enjoy them everyday.
There is also a short video of Bella and Kenna talking to each other. Kenna has been answering yes and no for several months now by shaking her head for no or saying 'ya' for yes, but just this weekend she started to actually verbalize "no". It is the sweetest "no" you have ever heard. I am sure it will come with attitude in due time, but for now it's so cute! We play this game where we ask Kenna if she loves certain things, and she says "ya" or "no". It's silly. It's kind of hard to hear her say it on the video until the end when Bella asks her if she loves Winnie.

Paging Mama.....
Here are a few pictures we took today and a short little video of Kenna calling me....not her first word, but still music to my ears!!! Her first word was actually 'good' because she loves food so very much. She is already turning into a little girl. She points the remote control at the TV to try and change the channel. She loves to give Winnie treats...and she only tries to eat them first about half the time. She sits at the table and eats off a regular plate and has mastered utensils. And, I am learning the art of becoming a referee!
