Camp Cook, Grandpa's Birthday, & Lunch

Bella started Camp Cook this morning. She goes everyday this week from 9am-12pm. This is she and her friend Connor outside before heading into class. Yesterday when we were talking about class she told me "Be sure and tell Camp Cook I am only 3 and cannot use knives." That and the fact she had to wear closed toe shoes were the extent of her worries.

Kenna wanted to stay at Camp Cook too. I had to drag her out unwillingly after she tried to eat a plastic grape and bit the top off a pretend onion.

Grandpa opening his birthday gifts. We had a scavenger hunt for Grandpa's birthday presents just like Alicia and I used to....only we never had 3 stories to go up and down.

What could this next clue mean?

Aunt Ali enjoying lunch with Kenna and someone who did not prefer to have her picture taken at that time.

This is the really cool cake tha Alicia made for Grandpa. She made the dock, Grandma, Grandpa, & Ginger Sue fishing on Lake Conroe.

Bella the Flower

Bella's friend Allison (from dance) had this costume in her dress-up box. Her mom said it was too small for Allison and gave it to KENNA. But, the moment we got home from our playdate Bella rushed into her room and squeezed her 3T body into the 24 month outfit. Then she said "OK, Momma, I guess I can give this to Kenna." But not before she posed for a picture. So I guess everyone gets a preview of what Kenna will be for Halloween this year.

Happy Father's Day

We had a happy Father's Day at the Cheesecake Factory in the Woodlands yesterday. It was not such a happy day after Kenna napped in the car, and was then a bear for the rest of the afternoon. Bella is once again absent from most of the pictures with attitude.

Kenna came out with a new word today...... "ice cream", and she put her shoes on all by herself this afternoon!! She was very proud.

Bella and Kenna eating cookies and mall watching. After Kenna finished her cookie, she dusted off her hands and headed straight for Gymboree. That's my girl!

It looks like Kenna is saying "This is my Daddy".

Kenna Is 18 Months

If you can believe it! She turned 18 months last Friday and today she had her 18 month check-up. She is tall and skinny for her age weighing 23 lbs (45%) and is 32 inches tall (74%). No shots today thank goodness! It was a fun check-up. Dr. Chen came in the room and told Kenna she was a tall girl, and Kenna told her "No". (her favorite word)
I took these pictures of her playing tea party in her room yesterday with the teapot and hat Granny and Papa sent. She will be turning 2 before we know it!

An Overnight at the New House

We spent Friday night in the new house. It is GORGEOUS, and we can't wait for Grandma and Grandpa to move in completely! Now taking volunteers from people who like to carry heavy items.

The ceremonial cooking of the macaroni & cheese.

Where Grandpa goes, Kenna goes.

Which way is home?

Snack time at the pool.
You will notice there are not many pictures of Bella. Bella was having attitude (shocking) and pretty much everytime I tried to take her picture, she would scream "No, don't take my picture." Apparantly I deserve this, and Granny I can hear you laughing from Kingfisher.

Here is a video of Bella & Kenna opening their package from Granny, Papa, and Macy. Kenna enjoyed reading the newspaper. The girls have both really enjoyed their gifts and the candy. Thank you for sending it to them.

The Canine Social Event of the Season

Bella and I attended Daisy and Buster's Birthday Party this weekend. Bella had a great time with Aunt Ali and Uncie Austin and all the doggies...especially little Lulu.

Winnie was there in spirit.
