Browniesh For Daddy

No, that is not a typo. That is how Kenna says 'brownies'. While Bella was at school today, we made brownies and took them to Daddy's work. She and I have lots of fun while the big sister is at school.

Pretend Preschool

Tuesday is our only 'day of nothing'. Bella has school MWF and she starts her weekly reading class this Thursday. And since last Tuesday we almost killed each other, I thought we should have 'pretend preschool' activities to keep ourselves busy. After breakfast we had 'craft time' where the girls played playdough and colored with the markers. Then, since the weather was so nice we went outside to play. A certain someone had so much fun she did not complain once about her back being sweaty. After a 30 minute show and lunch, it was naptime. We had a 3pm playdate this afternoon. It was a great day!

Go Speed Racer

Grandpa and Kenna were being silly with these race car hats that Bella and she received as party favors Sunday. Kenna thinks anything that Grandpa does is okay, and she likes to copy him. Please remember this Grandpa when she starts school!

Her vocabulary is really taking off, and she is speaking in simple sentences. Today she said "Bella go school" when we were driving this morning. Yesterday Winnie was barking like a maniac at the traffic outside, and she kept saying "nuff Bee". (translation "enough Winnie") She really hears the "E" sound in Winnie's name, so it always comes out "bee". She tells her "nite nite Bee", and "go pottey Bee" when we let her outside.
Still her most favorite and repeated phrase is "I do it".
She is without a doubt at the peak of her cuteness and stubborness.

No lazy Sunday here!

We had an extremely busy day today. After church let out at 10:45am, we attended a birthday party at the Little Gym from 11-12:30. The girls had so much fun. Then we came home and put Kenna down for a nap, and Bella and I went to Princess Story Time at Learning Express Toys. She decorated a mosaic tiara and ate cupcakes. We had a really fun day.

Say Cheese

Bella and I were playing 'photographer' today and she was posing for the camera. Kenna saw this and said "I do". After I took some of Bella, she posed for me too. This was the result.

Pink Ice Princess

On Daddy's way to his golf/hunting trip he stopped by to see the Holtman's (our neighbors who recently moved). He reported back that Miss Caroline had gotten her ears pierced, and since then Bella has spoken of nothing since. I took her this afternoon to Merle Norman where our neighbor (and sometimes babysitter) Jamie works. She picked out the pinkest, most sparkly earrings they had. Then she sat perfectly still while a lady named Miss Jill pierced her little ears. Not one tear and she sat and grinned the entire time.
I have lost track of the number of times we have flipped our hair and looked at ourselves in the mirror since 12:45pm.

Bella Meets Barbie & Party at the Lake

The boys are sorry they missed this! Bella got to meet Barbie in person at Pottery Barn Kids this weekend. I signed her up to do the "Create Your Own Barbie Dream Room" craft at PBK at the Woodlands. It was the cutest thing. She "designed" her room with Barbie and Aunt Ali's help, then got to pose with Barbie for a picture.

We also had a party at the lake house this weekend while Daddy was away golfing and hunting on the other side of the world. Bella is doing her "homework" on the top deck. Rough life!

Kenna is trying to work the bubble blower. "I do" she says. She threw more than one fit this weekend because she did not want to hold anyone's hand while walking down the stairs.

Aunt Ali and Uncie Austin (or Uncle Cookie as Kenna calls him) posing for my practice shot.

We are just missing Daddy and the puppy dogs.....not to put them in the same category.

A little video I shot tonight of the girls playing before bed.
