School Days

 So, I am just a little behind posting meet the teacher and first day of school pictures.  (sorry Grannny...I know I promised these 2 weeks ago!)

Happy 7th Birthday Bella!

We officially have a seven year old in the house.  She had such a great birthday.  So many cards and gifts...thank you to everyone!  She loves to write, so you can each look forward to a hand written thank you note to appear in your mailbox soon.  Kenna has had quite enough of Bella's birthday which has now been going on for almost 7 days.  She reminds us everyday that her birthday is next. 

Bella had a skating party last Saturday, and a few small celebrations in between.  Here are all the pictures, in no particular order.

We had a great mother's day!  We love our moms and granny!!  Happy Birthday to my mom today!

This weekend we had a great time taking the kids to watch two children's plays, 101 Dalmations and The Aristocats.   Thanks to one of Paul's customers whose daughter was in the show, we had great seats on the second row!

School Board Meeting

Tonight was a very big night for Bella! She was one of four chosen first graders to go before the MISD school board and showcase her research work on tornadoes. She did not ever really look one bit nervous, and she did a fabulous job! We are so proud of her. You can view the video here. The video runs the entire presentation. Bella's part is in the very beginning.

Merry Christmas

We recovered for just a few days from our Chrismas fun in Kyle, and on Thursday started another round of Christmas celebrations.

We began with Christmas with Aunt Laura and Aunt Alice in Houston.

In case you wondered, Kenna is a little more than 9 presents tall.

Bella got lots of cute zebra stuff for her room!

We spent Christmas Eve day and evening with Pappa and G., Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. It was a blast!!

Of course, Santa made his round here last night and was very generous. What a wonderful time of year! Merry Christmas!!!
